Compete | Perform | Course
Receive feedback and compete if you want to — but know you are worthy of standing in the spotlight regardless. In She Dares, you can choose to perform rather than compete. Your instructors, pole-sisters, family and friends are here to support and cheer you on. We want to witness you.
20 September, 2025. Comp begins at 4pm (performers will be required at an earlier time, TBA)

Comp Rules & Guidelines
All routines must be no longer than 3 minutes (if your music is not cut to 3 minutes or less, you will incur a point deduction)
Competitors are required to perform on static (stage right) and spin (stage left) with a floor transition between the poles (see judging criteria below for more info). For doubles, both poles will be on spin
Touching any pole other than the designated stage poles will incur a point deduction
No props that require cleanup are permitted (e.g. no liquids or glitter). If you are unsure, please enquire with Immy
The performer’s level will be judged based on the tricks executed in their routine (eg, if you attend level 4/5 classes but perform only level 3 tricks, you will be judged at level 3). If you are unsure, please enquire with Immy
GRIP - Only grips permitted in the studio will be permitted for the comp (no iTac!). Grip will not be applied to the pole, only the performer’s body. Performers will have the option of:
a) metho + wipe
b) dry wipe (no metho)
or c) no cleaning, done to the pole
all done by a separate pole monkey before their performance.
If you have any questions or concerns, please speak with Immy via DM @gcpolefit or email, admin@gcpolefit.com.au
