Our Classes

Level Classes

**All students must undertake at least one term of our wonderfully supportive beginners class, to support foundations in both strength and safety. As well as fostering a connected confidence in your own body’s expression. Students of all levels welcome, but please respectfully practice to the level of the class.**

Level 1 - Beginner Pole

For the brand new complete beginner! No previous experience needed! You will learn the basics for pole dancing.  A great place to start and a great place to return to after a break, baby or injury!

Never danced before? Think you're “not strong enough” or “not flexy enough” or some other “not enough” story? We’ve all been there, and I promise you, our experienced, kind hearted and encouraging instructors will help you realize you actually are more than capable, we will meet you where your at and help you feel in to that strong, sexy, empowered energy and realize,  YOU CAN DO IT!

Level 2 - Fundamentals

From the excellent base of our beginners level 1, you now feel ready to start exploring up the pole. Bringing in more spin and creating longer pole spin combos with time off the floor. We will also begin our aerial “up side down” practice! Each week we will learn 2 or 3 tricks and then put these into a combo or routine. There is still a mini routine every couple of weeks to allow you to revise the tricks but also start placing aerial moves into a flow.

Level 3 - Growth

Spending more time in the air, we begin to work on more intermediate aerial tricks, even combining a few together into upside down combos.

Level 4 - Expand

Now you have the strength and confidence in your bodies ability to hold you, we can start playing with our edge! Explore different grip types and entries for aerial tricks (for example shoulder mounts) and more complex aerial moves and combos. We also continually explore floorwork, shoulder stands and interesting and unique entries and exits from the pole.

Level 5 - Growth

Wow your audience and surprise yourself with your capacity! Think handsprings (or working towards) and drops, flips and acrobatics. As it is an advanced class, there is more space for repetition and working on individual tricks (with instructor spotting and crash mats to help you feel really supported and able to push yourself with confidence)

Burlesque

** Returning in September:

Be dazzled by Immy’s stunning and expressive choreography. This is a pole routine class drawing on different aspects of burlesque performance and grace, run over consecutive weeks, it is therefore important to book in advance as each week builds upon the routine. Students will need to have completed a minimum of level 1 beginner course to get the most from this class, as the focus is on the choreography and dance more than tricks (for pole tricks enrol in one of our 8 week leveled courses)

Chair

Bringing an exotic burlesque flare, Christine's chair dance choreography will bring the sass and allow space for you to explore your more raunchy side, the beauty of chair dance is you can practice these moves at home too and perform them anywhere there is a chair!!

Beginners Flow

This class is all about connecting with yourself, your flow, listening to your body and expressing your sensuality from that place! Learn some beginners spins and floorwork, then combine into a mini routine (beginners can copy the teacher in a follow the leader style flow or if you feel ready for it, experienced dancers can try out your own freestyle!)
